Track words & phrases in your journal entries

Knowing how often you're using a word or phrase can be very helpful in tracking how you're doing over time. To set up word or phrase tracking, click on the "Track Setup" button on your journal toolbar:

Next, type a word of a phrase, enter a description, and hit submit

View tracked words & phrases

To view the results of the tracking you setup in part 1 above, click on the "Tracked Data" button on your journal toolbar:

Next, select the word or phrase you want to view from the dropdown:

You'll be able to see how many times you used the phrase, which journal entries contain the phrase, and also a graph showing you phrase usage over time.

Tagging journal entries

Tagging journal entries can help establish connections between your journals and your goals, issues, negative thoughts, and fears. To start, click the circle icon (shown below) next to the journal entry you want to tag on your journal home page. Currently, you can only link 1 goal, fear, issue, and negative thought to your journal entries.

Customize your journal's color scheme

To customize your journal's color scheme, hit the settings icon on the top left of your journal homepage:

Next, select the pre-set color scheme & hit submit

Change or remove your journal's password

To change your journal password, log out of your journal & hit "forgot password". We're working on adding more flexibility here in a secure way. Once you've set a password, you cannot remove the password. You'll need to make a new account with an unsecured journal to do so.

Request Journal Data

To delete your journal data, you will have to delete your account through your account settings. To request journal data, please reach out to contact@projectcamus.com for more information.

Using speech-to-text

To start using speech-to-text, hit the microphone icon when writing your journal entry. Wait a second or two, and then start talking - your words should transcribe into your journal entry.

Saying 'save as draft' will save your entry as a draft.
Saying 'submit entry' will submit your journal entry.
Saying 'undo' will undo the last series of words you spoke.
Saying 'title as' followed by a title will set the title of your journal entry.

How to earn points

To earn points, you currently only need to create journal entries. Remember, these journal entries have to be over a certain word count and can't be gibberish. Our flagging system will flag your entry if it detects gibberish, and your account will be subject to termination.

Keep in mind, the point system may change in the future, and is likely to include other aspects of the platform as well.

Do reward prices change?

Yes, reward prices change all the time. There is no guarantee a reward will have the same cost at any given time.

Can I refund my reward for my points?

It depends on how quickly you request your refund. Email us at contact@projectcamus.com and if we haven't placed your order yet, we'll refund you all your points. If your order has already been placed, we will not refund your points.

Can I request rewards not available in the Camus rewards store?

Absolutely. We will convert the price of whichever item you want to receive into points. Reach out to contact@projectcamus.com for an estimate.

Disable or enable weekly email reminders

To disable or enable weekly email reminders for your goals, simply hit the toggle button on the left of your goal toolbar on your goals page.

Tagging goals

Tagging goals can help establish connections between your goals and your issues, negative thoughts, and fears. To start, click the circle icon (shown below) next to the journal entry you want to tag on your journal home page. Currently, you can only link 1 fear, issue, and/or negative thought to your journal entries.

How to complete goals

To complete a goal, you'll need to click on the goal from your goal list. Next, you should see a "complete goal" button on the left or top right of your screen. Click this to complete your goal.

To mark a goal as incomplete if it has already been marked as complete, you can filter your goals by hitting "display completed" to find the goals that need to be restored. Once you've found the goal, click on it and hit "mark as incomplete" on the top left or top right of your screen.

How to edit goals

To edit a goal, you'll need to click on the goal from your goal list. Next, you should see an "edit goal" button on your toolbar. Click this to edit your goal.
